Purpose

To hold or clamp wireline / slickline at surface during fishing operations.

Description

BT Round Fishing Clamps are made up of 5 components:

1. Top Plate2. Bottom Plate3. Insert4. Allen Cap Screw5. Flat Head Screw

Application

The BT Round Line Clamp is used when there is a desire to lubricate broke Slickline / Wireline from the wellbore. The BT Round Line Clamp utilizes a 5/8” SR thread which will attach to the bottom of a standard tool string, which then may be drawn up inside the lubricator.

Operation

Extract Allen Cap Screws from Top and Bottom plates so clamp be separated into two parts.

Ensure proper sized inserts are installed into clamp before installing around line.

Install around line, ensuring the slickline / wireline is aligned in the centre of the inserts. Install Allen Cap Screws into Top and Bottom plates and tighten, this will hold the line stationary.
