Provides a means to release no-go tools and pressure recorders downhole for extended pressure surveys.

Description

The BT “J” Unlatching Head consists of three parts:

1. Body2. Pin3. Set screw

Operation

Install the J Unlatching Head into the J Unlatching Tool and lower into the wellbore to desired depth. Set down gently on top of a pre run no-go, the toolstring weight will actuate the J Unlatching Tool and “J” off of the J Unlatching Head. Remove the toolstring from the wellbore.
