Purpose

The Brace tool swab mandrel is used to swab liquids from wellbore in an attempt to have well flow under its own power while inhibiting sand or debris from travelling through swab mandrel.

Operation

Install desired swab cups to proper size mandrel and attach to tool string.

Lower into wellbore and take note of fluid level. Once desired swab depth has been achieved, pull swab mandrel (and all fluid trapped above) to surface.

Repeat until well flows under its own power.

Precautions

Ensure the swab cups are replaced if worn or damaged, damage may occur from debris in wellbore.
