Purpose

To safely set tubing bridge plugs or other devices without the use of electric line.

Operation

Attach to desired crossover and corresponding running tool to the BT Safety Firing Head. Ensure Safety collar is in locked position and attach to tool string, release safety sleeve and lower into wellbore. Once desired depth has been achieved, jar down on preset tubing stop, or obstruction to shear top pin and begin the firing sequence.

Set entire tool string weight on the firing head to actuate the internal piston, once the piston has traveled to the extent of it’s range, jar down once again to shear the firing pin and fire the running tool below. Remove equipment from wellbore.

*In the event of a misfire the BT Safety Firing head will open to remove any contact with misfired charges. Use extreme caution when handling if a misfire occurs.
