To retrieve a sample of debris from wellbore.

Description

BT Dump Bailers are made up of 5 components:

1. Fishneck2. Barrel3. Ball Housing4. Shoe5. Ball

Operation

Assemble the drive down bailer and hoist into lubricator.Lower into wellbore to desired depth jar down to force debris past ball check and into bailer barrel.

Remove from wellbore.

Precautions

Ensure all connections are tight so as to prevent leakage. Inspection and maintenance of components will extend the life of the bailer, especially in corrosive environments.Care should be taken we disassembling drive down bailer as wellbore pressure may become trapped within the barrel, injury may occur if pressure is exhausted at surface.
